Well, I use nod32, but I'm not a whore for protection. (In fact, my XP boot just got eaten by a virus...)

If it already infected your system, it might be a bit tricky to remove. Download nod32, if it doesn't work, try next, if that doesn't work, try next. etc.

This works fine. I would say try the safe mode method before you do system restore if you have anything you want to keep that you downloaded recently.

Boot into safe mode, scan, restart.
It should work.
