Anyway It's hard to say.
Private gives a good education, but isn't very social.
Public you can socialize a lot more and get good people skills.

Private gives a good education, but isn't very social.
Public you can socialize a lot more and get good people skills.

Private is just as social, only it doesnt have the degenerate scum from the bottom of the gene pool.

lol yeah ive been to both the only real difference is people in private are more wealthier that in public and usually its nicer cleaner environment but its a little more strict and in public schools its a little less strict + most private schools require a uniform.

You have not been to both, I can obviously tell your getting your information of a public school from those tv shows.

Well Some public Schools are just as educative as Private Schools. It depends what kind of city you live in. Plus, What about life outside of school?
Private tends to be better with the education, but they're more strict.
Public helps the wallet instead of going to Private. In public schools, you have some more freedom.

I've been to both.
I prefer...I don't really give a shit. I've been to a top class private school, and I'm in public school. You know what the only difference is? I won't get my ass yelled at when I'm hanging around in the hallways with friends, when I make a complete ass of myself just to make a shitload of people laugh, when I make fun of people (no, I'm not a bully. I'm an undercover bully.  ), or when friends and I play the rating game.
Private school or Public school, doesn't really matter.
OH I ALMOST FORGOT. Public school = Girls are sluttier. Private has slutty girls too. Just not as many. Take my word for it. My ex-girlfriend from last week I thought was an angel, she was soo perfect. But when I asked her out I discovered she drinks soo much shit, and the crowd she hangs around does drugs and smokes. Some of her friends have had sex before. She hasn't. I think. 
Depends on your preferences. But not really. Private schools look a little better when applying to a college. Depends on which private school though. Public schools offer a lot of programs that will also look amazing on that application to college. The grand difference is the amount of pay from your family.
So, TL;DR, there is a vague difference between the two.
