Hi, I'm working on a God Spoofer hack for age of mythology and i'm facing some difficulties

I can find the 3 address I need to change the god I want but these adresses change avery game. I then tried to find the pointers but each address give me te same thing when i use "find out what writes to this address" and here it is:

repe movsb

instead of the value I should search, I get "Move data from string to string"

How can I find those pointers? or if I can't what should I do?

What do you mean with God Spoofer?

You can try finding the pointers with:
1) Find out what writes to this adress
2) Find out what reads from this adress

repe movsb


REPE repeats the string instruction until the value of ecx is 0 or that Zero flag is set


btw. you are sure its repe and not rep?

God Spoofer I mean you join an advanced game, it shows you have let's say isis as your god, then you start the game and when the game starts you ahve another god you chose instead... To counter-civ

And yes, it really is "repe", I just looked again...

So how can I find the pointer with this repe movsb??? (if you want me to post pic just tel)

let me tell you how movsb works

movsb moves the memory location of ESI, onto the memory onto EDI untill all blocks are transfered
just go to the location of ESI and check out the value there

Then you face some DMA problems, and repe movsb is not the way you get god mode anyway. Try debugging and finding player IDs. Have a compare, and you get god mode.

e.g. : mov eax,[esi+0x120]

Hmmm I don't know what game you're talking about (maybe maplestory?) and I'm not talking about GodMode also .. but God Spoofer.

ok, wtf is God Spoofer, all i can think of is that you fake God... what are you on? you're going to have to make some more sence if you expect any in depth help
