for a few hundred dollars, i could get a better computer and i live in australia. i doubt anyone would want to buy a second hand, outdated computer if they could buy a brand new one for better value.

I already have a buyer for a similarly spec'd first one, except I added 1.5gigs of ram. Shes buying it for 700$.
The laptop is decently equipped. I'd probably sell it for a decent amount if I added another gig of ram to it.
Anyway. The people he is going to sell to won't know shit. Make the numbers look big/decent and they'll throw cash your way.
Unless he is retarded and trying to sell his shit to people who actually know about computers.

I'm running almost the exact specs as your first one
256mb * 2 DDR PC3200 Ram
Pentium 4 3.0 GHZ Processor (The only difference)
GeForce FX5200 128mb
etc. But mine's a Sony from '04
