My point still stands... the aritist you mentioned according to wikipedia is from a band called "System of a Down" which started in 1994.
Since he was from that era, then I don't think his lyrics will be crappy like the "new" artist of today.

Of course I can't say all are bad, it's be corrected as almost all aritist are bad these days.

It's only old artists making new albums that are any good, and even then they're not as good as their old albums.

This has once again proven my point. Most artist of today cannot produce a song with meanful lyrics. "On a court I love my sports, dats why I play my bitches, cause I got game..." What the f*ck is that?!

If "sickest" for you means it's the best lyrics ever written, then you my friend really need to look at the history of music.

Take a look at American idol or other singing contest, do them contestants pick songs like the one you mentioned? No!

Of course each person is entitle to their own liking so if you like them, then enjoy it as much as you want.

R&B, the "B" stands for Blues, so it's sad-ish. Maybe some soul in there too. Rap is more upbeat-ish. It is poetry, but that doesn't mean Rap is good poetry. Their styles are similar.
