You can use vistamizer to make your XP
look like vista.
Watch out though most of the vistamizer downloads are viruses.
Get it off the official website.

Vista start orb protudes from the task bar where XP can't.
And since the taskbar is a windows protected file, modifying it to make the start orb protude like Vista will give you tons of errors or crashing the entire OS. |

There is a program called ViOrb (along with ViStart) from Lee-Soft that overlays something that looks like the Vista Start Orb, but it's a little buggy. |

They think it's illegal, but I don't. Lol
