Hi I was wondering what is the best resolution for a 18,4'' laptop monitor.
it's now at 1920x1080 pixels.

| That'll be the highest resolution available, so long as you have your graphics card driver installed and your screen is recognized.

1280x1024 is a standard screen format.
1080i/p are widescreen formats.
You need to yourself a new monitor.
