Have anyone try using this new OS yet? Just wondering if its like Windows Vista or XP at all or is it totally different. Any comments or suggestions are welcomed.

| It's based on Vista, but it install very fast and has great driver support (downloads/installs automatically if you have internet connection). Just remembered I was going to do benchmarks on OS-related tasks....

Yeah, the driver for my Atheros NIC (onboard with ASUS P5Q PRO) doesn't get installed, leading me to believe that there's an underlying OEM conspiracy in play.

lol bloody ASUS, my WLAN for my laptop (ASUS A9RP, bloody monster i know) was always a pain to configure on vista, and once again on windows 7. oh well, it's still a lot better than vista IMO.

can restore by right clicking on bar then select "properties" - change bar appearance to "show labels, never combine"
