Well I got a .M1v File and I want to convert it to mpeg 4 or avi or anything that plays on the computer without me using VLC
I tried total video converter but it didnt work, just gave me a file of 152 kilobits when it was orginally 500mb
Anyone know?

What's wrong with using VLC Media player, or something like it? You could use CCCP as well..

What's wrong with using VLC Media player, or something like it? You could use CCCP as well.. |
Well I want to burn it to a disk and for that i need to convert it

What program are you going to use to burn it to VCD or DVD? You've got to know what type of file it can convert to DVD.

DVD but avi could also do or even Mpeg 4 or even MKI

| Have you tried any of these? Handbrake is supposedly very good for a free converter, I've used it a few times.

handbrake doesnt work just tried it
i just need something that would convert the .m1v file to another video type
