I was told to post here. I get bad fps in maplestory, but in WoW its fine??? Im playing ms on the lowest quality possible. I posted my specs on the ms fourm and they said they were fine. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Run it at high priority.
Turn off AV and any other memory burning program.
Windowed mode.
Get rid of any 3rd party program that might self-inject.
Reinstall.

The probable reason why it's fine in WoW is that a program is probably affecting MS only, such as an antivirus, firewall or 3rd party program.

Turn off your firewall, or your antivirus.

Firewalls don't effect the FPS. Rolling Eyes

Are you sure it's your FPS anyway? How much are you getting?

Depending on the settings you run WoW at, shouldn't be a priority issue. I think non-windowed mode vsyncs automatically, 60fps? Haven't played in forever.
Max windowed fps is 500 at most times in game, 1000 at a few.

Firstly, I wouldn't have Vista on that computer, but that's up to you. Are you sure there are no drivers at NVidia's website for your hardware?

You could have said it was a laptop...
Do you normally have any other programs open while running maple? Also, are you trying to play a private server, or GMS? If it was a private server, sometimes even while not lagging the framerate can be extremely low.

Vista shouldn't run with that RAM
