You have to realize cat age and human age are different.
According to the web, 1 human year is equal to 15 cat years.

So if your cat is 10 human years old then for cat years it will be
150 years old.

Same with my friend's pet he's old too so he starts peeing and pooping where he's not suppose to.

Just bring the cat to a vet, even if there is nothing wrong with it. Ask the vet how you should treat the cat as it gets older.
