She's terribly annoying, telling me to get off the computer when I'm at the middle of my time on the computer.
She needs a laptop soon anyways for college, but my dad keeps on saying that he'll buy it when she goes to college. So how would I convince my parents to buy her a laptop right now?
Do not tell me to:
Buy one myself and give
No mentioning of prices

No, I'm only 13 years old, I can't work anyways. Also, she has to get an expensive one, it's for her college.

No, I'm only 13 years old, I can't work anyways. Also, she has to get an expensive one, it's for her college.

why does it need to be expensive? all you need is internet and microsoft office for school. maybe some other apps, but you buy those separately.

Expensive one as it lasts a long time, the battery lasts very long, etc.

I know what you mean, my sister used to be on my laptop all the time..
Every day she watched Sex And The City, Desperate Housewives, One Three Hill, Lipstick Jungle, Dawnsons Creeck, Gilmore Girls,... and turned it into a Facebook machine...
She would come into my room and turn the lights on at 4 am to check her mails, and if i told her to go downstairs (it's a frigging laptop! ><) she would get angry and say "oh, well if you wanted me to go downstairs you shouldn't have put the internetcable in your room!"
Because she didn't want wifi, oh no, wifi was way to slow, she needed direct lan! And of course it was my fault that my mom kept breaking the internetcable downstairs, and that i had to keep repairing it (and getting electroshocked most of the time, because she wouldn't let me turn off the electricity 'cause she wanted to watch TV all day long) every single time, until the metal wires got so short it couldn't get connected anymore!
The only thing i COULD do was connect them to the cable that goes to my room!
I was already planning how i was gonna kill them all and start a new life in Mexico, but then my uncle and aunt gave us a new one (better then mine), which i gave to her, so that she would never go on my computer ever again. Yet she still uses my computer because the screen is bigger ><

Tell them that she should probably have a period of "testing" the labtop so she finds one that she likes. That way she can return it/complain if she doesn't like it.

Ugh, I know exactly what you mean.
If price is not a factor, then you just have to give it a little time. If you show your parents how getting a laptop would be better for her, they may change their minds. I don't know what your parents are like, but just give it some time.
