From my past experience with Nexon, they send a lawyer to speak in their place, cause Nexon aren't the brightest of companies. Maybe it would've been a one-off lawyer contacting in Nexon's place.

If so, there more than 4 years late. But that didn't stop them with LocalMS and OdinMS. This could have been done in PS, and fake emails that hard to make. But it looks good to me?

Edit: anyone can make those emails..

Well I think, emails are not legally binding.
For example: my email inbox is full of crap. I'm only going in there when I need to activate something or so. I only check the emails I need and delete the rest without checking what it is. So, if I'd get such a email I'd just disregard and delete it without even reading it.
I think they either need to send you a real letter (warning or by law) or come to you personally (or perhaps a phone call?).

But I'm not sure if this Mail is fake or not.
You should just mail to [email protected] and ask.

[edit]About the email aren't legally binding thing:
I just realised that this email is just a warn by nexon, right?
So..They could've just sued you right away without warning you, right?

Tell me if I'm wrong, I'm not that genius about law stuff. But I think mailing them and ask for a confirm is the best you can do.[/edit]

The e-mail (letter) sent to OdinMS was hand-signed, and also provided contact information. Matthias called and confirmed it was real, although he had accidentally received it early.

The lawsuit for 350.000 EUR (about 500,000 USD) is still going on: odinms.de

Emails, because they are easily forged, are not a legal way of informing you of a lawsuit. A hard copy (paper) must be delivered to make it official.

I think that's a bunch of fake crap... They would have a Nexon member's signature at the bottom of the email if it was real.

Nexon, uses .com for their emails lol.

Ripped from there main site. It shows the extension of there email.

I wouldn't take it seriously.... Wait until you're contact by there legal department because as people have said, they're easily faked.

Also, why not email them back saying like "Hi did you email me" and check the response. Haha!
