Do it yourself, just walk up confidently and say something along the lines of.

"Hey _____, Happy birthday!"

"I got you something, here"

It doesnt really matter what you say, aslong as its clear, and confident.

option 1 has worked with me plenty fo times.
option 2 is just creepy and i dunno if anyone has even tried that.
option 3 got me a slap on the face for not being man enough to give it to her.
