Okay so I'm holding this contest to see which one of you can solve this. I will give $300 (via paypal or cheque) to the one who get's it right.
2 men are found dead in the desert. All they are wearing is boxers. They are both holding a straw. There is food, water, wood, clothes, and a hot air balloon around them. How did they die?
EDIT #1: Hint: Fear

while flying in the balloon, he used the straw as a blowgun to kill the other dude (probably fired a dart designed to look like asparagus, with the poison supply disguised as water), but then right before guy #1 died, he stole the straw, and fired at the balloon to deflate it. Then the other guy threw the clothes (heavy winter stuff, even in the desert, because of al!@#$%^&*ude) overboard to try to keep it afloat, but it didn't work, and when they hit the ground, the shock knocked his weak heart (which had been damaged some years before in another assassination attempt) out of commission, resulting in his death |

Their car broke down.
They had a small hot air balloon.
All three of them jumped in.
It was too heavy so they threw off their clothes to make it lighter.
They then threw off the food.
Then they drew straws.
The one with the shortest straw through the other two off the edge of the hot air balloon.

this is a stupid riddle.
there are thousands of ways that they could have died....
from missile strike to balloon blowing up
to them being dead already and a balloon just randomly goes and lands near them with food and other crap.
they could have been kidnapped and placed in a scene that makes it look like they died in a balloon crash.
there could have been an actual balloon crash with them in it.
they could have been playing a game with the straws that required them to strip down or not do something every time "X" happened.
etc......
dumb riddle is dumb.

They were scared of getting lost in the desert even more so they landed. It was so hot so they took off their clothes except for their boxers. and they were about to take a drink with straw but the hot air ballon exploded because they forgot to turn it off

i was going to say, that they were all fat and sweaty and took off allt heir clothes, but were on a diet, so can't eat and died of hunger. |
