As in car, the tool ordinairy people use to go around everywhere. a helicopter is not piloted by civilians. it has to be a viable solution that can last a while.

Adding on to this:
The jobs will change, it will be based on:
creativity of design of robots
programmers
and more important jobs based on robots.
There won't be much of a diversity of people anymore, genetic engineering will also affect everything.

Well flying is a lot harder than driving and isn't cheap. I doubt in my life time there will be a *flying* car.

I think most people see flying cars as without rotors and being completly stable.

What if the cars had Jet or Air Plane engines instead of helicopter rotors?

No they're not.
They cannot fly at high altitudes because the air is too thin.

Bolded. Point number 4... I don't think it would happen yet. It's just a matter of 12 years from now... Unless they really worked hard on the project itself about how to fly and stuff.

My personal view is that the world will have the few technological advances it's been deemed to get, the human race would jump from our .32 to the .35 patch, and Satanism would be more widespread.
