I leeched long enough and now I want to start to make my own bots and trainers. I have knowledge in general programming, and I programmed with VB.NET for a while now - but now I want to start at zero.
Since my goal is to make MapleStory bots/trainers I have to know how I should start with it. Which programming language should I use - and why?

I see that most bots are written in C++, what's so special on C++? What about C# and VB.NET?

Nothing special about it, You can make a bot/trainer in any language that has winapi access....

I know but why are most here using C++? Is it easier? Since I'm going to start at zero I will start to learn a new programming language with which I program bots then - so I want to choose the right one.

I use C++ because I evetaully want to go into making games. If you ask me VB is the easiest to use, but not very powerful.

All you really need to know for C++ bots is PostMessage and loops.

Let me ask like that...
For example: I want to create a trainer with Godmode and DupeX Vac - is that possible with VB? If yes, I will go on learning Visual Basic.
