well here is one site with loads of tut's on http://win32asm.cjb.net/
you can get the masm32 compiler from the link to hutch's site,
most asm tutorial writers tend to write for peoples who have at least a basic understanding of some higher level language so that they dont have to go over the nuts and bolts of how programs are built up,
that way they can just get on with showing the reader how to understand asm,
so you need to try C or C++ or some other language to use these tut's
heres some links http://www.bloodshed.net/c/index.html
you can get a c compiler from here
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/dev-cpp/devcpp-4.9.9.2_setup.exe
one thing though that does annoy me a little bit, I see quite often people moaning about not getting instant answers to their questions,
well just about all the asm and C++ I know I found for myself through google or books and cd's I bought, and also all over this forum other people and myself have already posted links to asm and other language websites,
so please dont be so quick to complain if you dont get an answer to something that has already been answered many times before

I was not having a go at you actually,
there are a couple of deleted posts here that were moaning about not getting answers that I was talking about,
you did nothing wrong at all you just asked for links to tutorials so you could learn yourself,
if fact I'm sorry the posts were deleted and you thought I was having a go at you

Go to Amazon.comn and look through their used books. I got 4 books on ASM and one on C++ for like $8 (for all of them). Time shipping and tax and stuff I spend around $26 for more books than I can read and absorb in a year.

well at least you'll zoom through the other 3 books and understand them better , be like revising and you learn lots and better with a little revising, I do it all the time over a period of time

I was thinking of changing my username to I,
that way I would not get confused with me,
then again how about "you" as a username,
if you was my username then I would not be confused with me or U and you would know it was you posting and not me or I

This is a very good reply on information. Note it defiantly isnt free.
But you can go to local book store and actually look in a few books about what you want. Then turn it over and look at the price. aghhhhhh $40.00.
Turn right around and go to amazon and get the exact same book used/new
less then half price.
Look at the ones that say like new, i have several books on many things and they all come to me brand new , but i pay used. People just buy stuff and dont use it then sell it. even the books with cd's have not been opened.
So the point im making is, you can see the book before you even buy it on amazon to know if it is to your liking or not.
There are some that are older books you wont see in the books stores, and you have to chance it on those by reading peoples feed back on them.
