I'm looking for some ideas and general implementations for game hacks. I don't need exact details on doing them, but general procedures to implement them. I've included some examples of what I'm looking for below. Any kind of ideas are welcome including just "for fun" hacks that wouldn't really add an advantage but might be fun to play with. I'll update this top post with hacks I think are interesting (if anyone adds any) in case other hackers out there need some ideas and I'll add some more of my own when I get home (typing on iPhone sucks). Thanks in advanced for any ideas.
Jump height - modifying gravity or hooking the jump procedure in the game and dynamically adjusting applied impulse.
Teleport - modifying character's x,y,z coordinates or hooking an existing teleport procedure in the game.
AutoTarget/AutoAttack - Find how the game stores the target information and then locate where monsters on the map are story in memory and target them that way. AutoAttack either simulate key presses or hook attack procedure.
Fly - Multitudes of ways of implementing depending on how the game handles physics. Some games just set the vertical axis above ground and turn off gravity or freeze any velocities on the vertical axis. My personal preference would be to actually hook the movement/collision procedures and code an actual flying system. (I.E in say a 3D game pressing W moves character in direction of view angle). |

Also, find 1 or 0 for is jumping or is not jumping . This would make the game think you pressed/is pressing the jump key. depends on how it was coded tho,
say like If spacekey = down, then jump or If spacekey = hit then jump.
only one would give constant jumping.
Flashing god mode hack, could use same method , but that would be for collision function. |
