I've been playing Fallout 3 (pc) for a while now, but it got boring after a while, so I thought about DL'ing a trainer, but they all crash the game. (I've read that it's something about Windows Live)

But that's not the real point, the point is that I figured that I could just use console commands. I tried, but the damn button wouldn't show the console. I have been told that it's because I have a danish keyboard. I used to have the same problem with all Steam games.

All I want to know is, if anyone knows how to rebind the console button, to another key, like T, Y, U or I and so on.

EDIT: I read that it's a bug that has to do with keyboards, controllers, remotes etc that might be installed on your machine.

Remember to restart you computer both before and after to make sure it works.

First remove all joysticks/remotes/controllers from your PC.

Go to you device manager. One way to do this is:
Control Panel ->Administrative Tools -> computer Management -> Device Manager

Open the "Human interface devices" section.
Now look for anything along the lines of "infrared tranceiver" Disable or delete it.
If that doesn't work, disable/delete something like "CIR Reveive".

If this doesn't work expand the "Keyboards" section.
Here disable extra keyboard hardware that is listed.

I will try this when I get home, and write back if it works.

I have the same problem with my Norwegian keyboard. I don't think there's any way around it.

Well I got home, tried the thing I found ealier, and I didn't work. I've tried everything the great internet tells me to do, but nothing has worked. Guess I'll have to wait for a console-fixing mod : /
