Demo was awesome.

But is it a fad and will it get boring, or is it actually an amazing game which will last for ages.

Debating getting it tonight.

I think it will last at least until another successful "endless killing"-zombie game comes out. Remember Dead rising? Its fun, and still is. Not to mention that the game is based on the a.i director thingy, which will make the game even more funnier!

But L4D is not one of the "must get this first"-list in my opinion..

seen some screenshots people running around in the forest/hospital.. makes it even more creepier!

For me L4D was a disappointment.

I don't like the 'crappy & edgy' graphics
And the AI.. It's just so...well retarded.
For example your allies keep running against walls etc.

Sure it's a good game at least for a while if you got friends to play it with.

It's meant to have a horror movie feel, and the characters are more stylized because people were having trouble distinguishing them from zombies.

Completely pointless to play unless you're on expert with friends.

Meh, im not into the horror and creepy blood and walking into a pitch dark room with a fucking smoker looking you in the face and then you screem and hit f5 and ya.

But i like l4d. The boomers are just so, well, swell? =D

Overall loved the demo, don't know if im going to get it.

I'm going to get it when it's out here next week I've decided.

I've rinsed the demo over and over and on expert every scenario is different and it becomes a challenge just to complete that level.

I just got my "free" version and I have yet to install it but from people I know who played it they say its really good, but they got it for the XBox 360 even though I told them its better through Steam on PC.
