Well its not the most advanced few books but the Eragon books (Eragon, Eldest and Brisingr) are very engaging if you sometimes lose track although they are quite large books. They do draw you in quite a bit though if you like that sort of genre (fantasy, dragons etc)

If you chose the 'Twilight' series you will not be able to read the first book as it is coming out to theaters on November 21 which is this friday, but either way it is a great series doesn't matter what your gender is. I read it and I am a guy, I didn't hide that I was reading it and sure I was called gay but then after I finished it those same people that called me gay started to read it. Also as to the 'Eragon' series you will not be able to read the first book as it was made into a movie though the movie was even made so horrible that it left out MAJOR parts of the book and made it so they can't make a seceond movie.

The Cherub Series!

It's pretty much about every young boys fantasy!
It's about a buy called James Adam becoming a Spy.

take a look at the warriors or grey wolf series if you like easy stuff.
(they are pretty child oriented)

edit: oh yeah, no movie books Evil or Very Mad

like books my teachers make me read, I can read the words and everything fine,, but i don't understand it.

Anyone know any good books that are easy-ish and are somewhat fascinating?
Hobbit, Artemis Fowl, Harry Potter, Metal Gear Solid. You know, kiddy books.

Any of the Harry Potter series.

Also for some light reading read Chew On This, it is required for my school and I enjoyed it. About 100 to 200 pages.
