I have to read 400 pages and then tell my teacher about it. I think I've developed ADD or something, but I can't focus on reading the story, unless it's interesting.
edit: oh yeah, no movie books Evil or Very Mad

like books my teachers make me read, I can read the words and everything fine,, but i don't understand it.

Anyone know any good books that are easy-ish and are somewhat fascinating?

The Darren Shan series.

Its category is supernatural, so it'll be somewhat interesting (as in out of the ordinary).

Pretty easy to read, the reason being I read it when I was 12.

As I remember, one book in the series was around 200 pages, so just read the first book, then if you like it, proceed to the next.

I also can't focus on reading books so what I do is, when you are f---ing, utterly bored, read.

To understand the books you are reading, try reading the blurb (the writing on the back), if there is one, to get a synopsis of it.

I like Harry Potter. They have a good bit of pages but are pretty neat to read.

I would suggest one of these series 'Landover For Sale' by Terry Brooks or the 'Incarnations of Immortality' by Piers Anthony. Now these series are pretty old but are very intresting and pretty easy to read, they also fall under the fantasy genre, you can also find them at any public library because of their age.

Micheal Crichton books are extremely good...i learned alot of things from them

The Cirque Du Freak series by Darren Shan. Its really good. I never read books and then I stumbled upon the first book in the series. One wiff and I was addicted. I blazed through one and a half books a day. Finished whole series in a week. Loved it. Laughing

And also, even though I'm male, I read Twilight by Stephanie Meyer in two days (secretly of course). It was pretty good. I saw everyone reading it. Everyone. So I was a bit curious. Just a book ey?

If you love reading, but you can't seem to understand it, then that means that book is too much a high level thinking book. In other words, go find an easier book to read.

Not sure how easy you want it to be, but John Grisham's novels are extremely interesting.
