We already have those.
Brain = computer. A 6 terrabyte computer with an wicked processor. We even have better computers then brains out there. (We have faulthy memory retrieval, while a computer stores and gathers it flawless)
Some other organs we can replace are lungs and liver. But those devices are still to big right now. But we WOULD be able to build a giant robot though x) |
Yeah, but does it have the ability to learn?
(Like it sees someone putting shapes into wholes shaped the like the shapes, will it be able to learn to do it?)

That's our neurons that do that. They grow more and more and we have millions of neurons that send messages and stuff. No computer would compare to our brains (yet.)
About the neurons, I don't know if I gave correct information, but I think it's correct.

If so, awesome |

Quite so. Adaptive AI already exists, but in small quantity.
Why? Because it's not needed yet.

| Jeez, this is great. And about the 1st page, there is NO WAY we're gonna build an artificial brain. Haven't you ever seen terminator 3?! Besides, we're nowhere NEAR having a computer that can think. We can have it generate responses and such, but not think. It'll never go outside of it's programing. I just wonder how this gets all it's power... I mean if it's pumping for twenty years or so without stopping, that might cause a problem... especially going through a metal-detector.

Artifically created brains... maybe 50 years from now, but what we can do now is "overclock" it like we do with our CPUs.

A small piece of his skull is removed, and an electrical probe inserted deep into his brain tissue. It reaches his hypothalamus and current is switched on. Suddenly the patient -- awake through the procedure -- begins to speak uncontrollably about events in his past, events he had long forgotten. He remembers a day's walk in the park 30 years ago, complete with what people were wearing, all in vivid color. He sees them speaking to him, every motion they made. The intensity and level of detail of the memories is frightening.

The heart is made of mechanical parts must like a motor in your car you may never know when it's going to give out or malfunction.
As for powering that thing I doubt they'll use atomic power type batteries like Nickel-63 where its "half-life" is over 100 years.
or better off harness the energy of Nickel-60 with a half-life of 1.5 million years.

That's probably the least of your issues.
