|
|
When I try to start a game on Windows Live Messenger I get an error:
| Code: | Request Error (invalid_request)
Your request could not be processed. Request could not be handled
This could be caused by a misconfiguration, or possibly a malformed request.
For assistance, contact your network support team. |
I have had this error for like few months. I have reinstalled MSN few times, which didn't really help.
Any solutions for my problem?
*EDIT*
Fixed! I just had to reinstall Internet Explorer.

Formatting isn't worth doing just to play games on WLM... I suggest you clear registries from your WLM, uninstall WLM then re-install it from the microsoft's website make sure its not a beta, usually its filled with bugs...
Or it may be your connection? Who knows

My connection is fine. I have cleaned registries, and uninstalled and reinstaller few times, as I already said. And, no it's not beta. It's the latest version that you can find on msn.com.

Did you read window's MSN help page or w.e. they call it? They usually give out support there... If not, I'm guessing its your OS that may have some corrupted files, or modified ones...
Try installing SP2 or 3 if you didn't
Try upgrading it

Wow, do you not read? :/
It's not the OS.
I don't know much about the MSN games but I have a question, is it multiplayer?

He has the latest MSN.

Google some patches for the games. I found some.

Okey, and thanks. If I'll get MSN games back to work by using the patches I'll +rep you.

You guys, it could just be a firewall or router...
With WLM you often get a port problem with the games. If you have your ports closed, then nothing is gonna get through except for the messenger itself.
This is because the games in messenger aren't necessarily built in. (From what my limited resources have told me.) It's like sticking a game in a web browser. The Web Browser does all the online work, but the game runs as it's own.
Sadly, if it's a router problem the only thing you can do is open the ports that are needed.
If it's a firewall blocking access to the game's features then you're on your own, because I have no clue how to fix things like that.
