|
|
As you can see here with BBCode I can put this box in here:
<embed src="http://www.crazymonkeygames.com/rotator/bigrotator.swf" quality="high" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="550" height="230"></embed>
With this code: | Code: | | <embed src="http://www.crazymonkeygames.com/rotator/bigrotator.swf" quality="high" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="550" height="230"></embed> |
But I can't put this on my site because the text I add to my site doesn't use BBCode, does anyone know how I should do this?
EDIT: why isn't it working? %#$!

Are you sure your site uses BBCode?
When you put:
| Code: | | <embed src="http://www.crazymonkeygames.com/rotator/bigrotator.swf" quality="high" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="550" height="230"></embed> |
Does it show up as like a box? Or like the flash thing, because if it does then you have HTML.
And if you do have HTML I think to put that code in would look like:
| Code: | | <textarea name="textarea" cols="40" rows="4" wrap="VIRTUAL">=====your code=====</textarea> |
So basically:
| Code: | | <textarea name="textarea" cols="40" rows="4" wrap="VIRTUAL"><embed src="http://www.crazymonkeygames.com/rotator/bigrotator.swf" quality="high" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="550" height="230"></embed> </textarea> |

You can use xViBeSz said, or you can learn css and use the <code></code> tags.

The bbcode would be:
| Code: | | [flash=x,y]url[/flash] |
It's only supported by phpBB3 unless modified.
x and y are the size dimensions, url is the url to the swf.
