Find out what kind of graphics card your computer can handle (check you PSU + mobo), and go to http://newegg.com/ and look for one to buy.

if your computers motherboard is DDR2 then you can use DDR2 or GDDR2 card, (and so on). Do some research though because some might take GDDR3 card and others

Motherboards cant BE ddr2 or ddr3
Motherboards can handle DDR2 or DDR3 RAM
Though this has nothing to do with GPU's
You can have DDR2 RAM and still use a DDR3 GPU

Exactly..
Some cards use GDDR3, GDDR4 or even GDDR5..
Ever heard of DDR5 RAM? Didn't think so..

Your computer got a Celeron 2.4 GHz, I would say buy a hole new computer.
Buy a dualcore at 2.2 or more.
Buy 8800GT or better.
2GB ram with XP and 4GB ram with VISTA.
Crap chassi and okey PSU.

Ok please explain why, and then don't come say your better because I've built ALOT of computers.
I know 8800GT isn't that priceworth tho I don't like ATI that much.
You'll get alot better preformance with a 4850 and just a few more dollars.

So you build a lot of computers. Well then so have I, but it does not mean I know everything.
Also he's got a AGP slot so the HD4000 series is a no go.
