Cheat Engine

My friends Combat Arms no longer works. It can't connect to the server even though his internet is working fine. I re-installed it with the latest patches and still nothing. The error code is:

If that occurs maybe a setting within the OS. Maybe reformat to make sure if not. Maybe contact Nexon and discussing the problem or try portforwarding. Maybe connection is blocked through router. Well I'm not sure. Combat Arms I think has been released to early and the technical support team is not to good at defining problems.

I get that when I forget to turn on the wireless router/adapter.

Really? Wouldn't Nexon notify him or something? And wouldn't it say he's banned at the login screen, instead of just not letting him connect to the server?

As said above, check firewall / modem / router settings. Check hosts file, if all else fails, contact CA support.

If it's an IP Ban and he has a dynamic router can't he just restart his router (if its dynamic) or configure a proxy?

This happens sometimes, it's a problem with the servers. You just have to wait it out. Tell him to try getting on when the servers should be empty.

Well, this happened to me too, but it was more on and off and about a month ago it finished happening. His isn't on and off, and it isn't stopping. So I'm not sure if it's the servers. But he could try logging in at like 11:00-1:00?
