Everytime I open certain programs such as AIM, Yahoo Messenger, ITunes, etc....it tells my "Program name.exe" -Bad Image The application or DLL C:\WINDOWS\system32\xpsp2res.dll is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette. I got this error after I deleted an automatic update (from me being stupid) the program runs after I click it about 15 times...-_- it's just really starting to bug me...any suggestions to stop this? Greatly Appreciated ^_^

Sounds like a corrupted OS file. Maybe reformatting? or removing your updates then reinstalling them?

system restore does not really fix problems... It only restores stuff doesn't delete or fix anything entirely.
I suggest reformatting the PC basicly because you've gotten a corrupted file and it takes less pattients to just dump the system and fix

compare formatting your computer and having to install all the drivers, apps, and putting your personal files back on, compared to just trying a system restore. well i know which option a half intelligent person would choose.

Update to Service Pack 3 or uninstall SP2 and reinstall it.
