|
|
Do you guys think in the next century or so, we shall be living out of Earth?? Like Mars, the moon , or maybe even in a man-made Planet???
Discuss why and why not...
My answer is yes, we had made it to mars and found out that about 10 inches under the ground is frozen water so there was once life there, and in the moon we can we already are planning on making a base or something there, and a man-made planet..why not??

The thread was asking if we would migrate off earth.
I'm doubtful that we will ever live on other planets.
Unless there is significant advances in the human lifespan which forces us to look for other places to live.

Oh, didn't read very well.My mistake.
Well if what you say is true, about the advances, could it be that we could also somehow live on the moon ?

| I believe that we're gonna have to leave the earth because it'll be all fuck'd up.. but it's gonna be like a complete failure and 95% of the people are gonna die in the accident, and the other 5% are gonna die because of lots of different reasons

By that conclusion, who the hell will live out there, then?
95%+5% = 100%..
Anyway,i do believe we will, but not in a short while, perhaps for 100+ years.

When the apocalypse comes we'll probably try to save a few. Most likely a ship.

A century is 100 years
A decade is 10 years.
A century is 10 decades.
Migrating to another planet won't happen in our lifetime, we may be able to visit space as a tourist attraction, but that's only for the mega rich as
a ticket may cost up to 1 million dollars per person.
As that X Prize challenge since Virgin Atlantic won, I wonder how their going to commercialize space travel?

I don't really think this will be possible in the nearest future. :/
Why?
Well, the simple fact that I don't really think there would be any need to move out of earth unless it is going to explode or so...

I doubt we will. I mean scientists may have a 'base' there to study and test.
But what advantages do any other planets have to earth in terms of our basic needs?
