Well, when I use Nero to burn my CD's, the tracks always skip for a few seconds.. sometimes even most of the track. I've tried making 5 different CD's, all from a new package of blank CD's, but same result. Anyone know why? _________________

I've tried that, but the skipping still occurs. Seems like others have had this problem with Nero as well. _________________

Oh, I'll try that out later. That's what I kinda got Nero for.. and if it can't do that.. _________________

The first thing you should do is check for any version updates to your software.
What type of music CD are you trying to burn?
Is it MP3 or WAV?
For Audio CD (like those you can play on your CD player), burn it at 8x and nothing higher than that.
Also close off all programs so it does not interfer with the writing process.
e.g. Program that munches on the hard drive (BT).
Also try different brand of media if your still having problems. |

I have another question
Do I need these files to burn a CD?
If I do, can you give me a link to original ones, or Windows XP SP2 ones? I'm not sure if they were put there by Nero, or they are a default in Windows. _________________

Those are just .dll files Nero needs in order to function some of its features.
You do not need to burn them to your disc. |

| ah i think encountered that problem, when burning audio using nero, selected a song then look for properties (i think it's right mouse button) look for a timer or something to do with time, i think thats the one causing a delay for each song to play, and one more thing according to the help file when burning audio you should always use burn-at-once mode. |

It's weird, when I listen to the CD on my computer it doesn't skip, but when I play it in my car it does..
-Edit, nevermind it still skips when I play it on my computer. >.> _________________

Doesn't Itunes take like.. a long time to burn? Nero only takes about 3 minutes. Also, Nero has a lot of good features to it, but I've only tried it to burn audio CDs.
Does anyone have a good burner that's fast and easy?
