So yeah, my computer is pretty much effed as far as anything other than being on goes. I want to return it to it's factory setting, you know, like brand new, I know I can take it in to Best Buy or something to do that, but my dad won't take me, and even less, how would I convince him to. My computer is going extremely slow, minimizes all windows every fice seconds, and constantly makes loud clicking and beeping noises. Anyone know how I can revert it?

Format it. Buy(=download) a windows / linux, burn it to a cd, restart your comp with the cd in. Then just follow instructions, delete partitions, then format.

Shit, then that means I need to get a new disk drive as well...

Hmm, here's an alternative, my computer is about....4 years old, would it be more worth it to get an up to date one, or to fix this one, and prices?

It all really comes down to your liking and budget. If money is no conern however, then go buy a better one. But if you chose to fix it, the repairs may cost more or less than buying a newer PC. Weigh out your pros and cons.
