|
|
Hi everyone, i got a big problem.
Since yesterday, after changing keys on the pad for my psx emulator, i closed it and suddenly the computer froze. I had to turn it off.
But by then, i had to try like 10 times to get to have my computer back up. I thought it was fixed somehow.
But then, 1 hour later, it did it again !
Everytime i try to start it, one of the disc player's DEL / LED keeps on blinking, and the computer doesn't keep on booting.
Also, sometimes it even shut off on, for example, the windows booting screen. 2 or 3 times, when loading some stuff for itself (pfi or w/e it is, loading disks), it said "A disk error failure occured", something like that..i'm sick right now so that's why i can't really "remember" details (i just slept 4 hours cause of sickness lol).
CCleaner fixed about 750+ registry keys this morning. I did look for issues until there's not any left. Also cleaned everything about history / temp files. But then when i was gonna let a bot for maplestory, it froze.
Also Yesterday, when i first re-booted it, it had a bug with the program "macromaker". I'm gonna try to delete the emulator right now, since i already deleted macromaker.
Anyway, hope you can help me guys (before it does it again), thanks in advance.
EDIT : Should i try to use Disk cleaner, Disk defragmenter and/or System restore ?
EDIT2 : Also before, with every 3D games it was randomly freezing / crashing also.
The computer is not mine actually, but just temporarily. But look what it is (refresh if you can't see attachment.)
EDIT 3 : Also since it bugs now, there's (or WAS, it just dissapeared) rundll32 in the processes.
I'm gonna add a screenshot of the processes too..
Yesterday and this morning when i first started it, it was showing something in the processes, something like "BTBRD.exe" or something, didnt have time to get it cause it dissapeared..

Sounds like overheating to me.
Try remove the side panel, and put a nice big desk fan on high, blowing
right into the guts of your PC.
Try again, preferably a 3d game, and observe.
Seeing as though it crashes on 3d apps, it's most likely your videocard, so
aim for that with the fan.

it's probably not; it wouldnt just start happening periodically.

Well i deleted the emulator and so far it's been 7 hours without crash, so i guess it's kind of fixed. If it does it again, i'll try system restore.
If it doesn't work, i'll try a new fan. Thanks guys for everything
And for 3D games, yes it must be my video card, since its the monitor that messes up (doing all kind of colors). Also when on maple, if i take a screenshot, here's what it most of the time looks like :
(see attachment)
Also the 1st image is what it does when it crashes on 3D app's (its just a screenshot that messed up but its exactly what it does).

Maybe your graphic card pooped out?
Take the card out and check for any leakage or protrusions especially on the capacitors.

If it's not integrated, does it have a fan? Is it spinning?
Blast it clean of dust if possible. Otherwise wipe your drivers, and install latest.
