what's the difference between the outbox/sentbox? sometimes my messages go to the sentbox, sometimes they go to the outbox...

Outbox is recently sent PM's that you just sent, while sentbox are the ones that have been read by the opposite person.

Correct if I'm wrong please.

yes, also, posts in the outbox can still be edited (until read and moved to the sentbox), while those in the sentbox can't
