Came across this visual3d.net seems to support drag and drop game development..

Perhaps we should start a section on actually making games with this?

My AV didnt go off, my comp didnt slow and my script scanner didnt say anything. Its safe and far as i can see.

It's safe. I've been following the development of this engine since beta 1, and it is a VERY good engine.

IF

You know c#, or python.

Can model in 3D.

Understand XNA.
Then go ahead.

The scene editor is drag and drop, but game creation is not.

You will need to script at minimum about 100 LoC

Besides, people on here are cheapskates, they cannot afford the $200 out right payment + $99 a year subscription.

There are some true drag and drop engines that require no scripting, but they cost.

This engine doesn't really provide much above what you can get for free these days. I think it's mad that people bother paying this amount of money when you can download the XNA game studio, Blender and VS2005 express for free, then just code and model a game straight from there.

I used to have a few hundred posts in the rs cheating section.. however they seem to have "disappeared...".... probably should blame fin for that..(him and i didn't exactly agree on most issues...) I left this forum a while back.. when i finally gave up trying to educate some people about runescape servers... But that's irrelevant.

The program is definitely safe.. i work for them, you can contact me on there, my name is "amir". The engine will cost $200 for indie developers, for students, like you guys, there will be a nominal fee of $49.95 which gets you the full professional version, the only downside may be a splash screen or a water mark on any games you may create...

Excepting the fact that you have to pay for a license that costs 10 times as much (if you include visualstudio) as the indie license if you plan to actually make a commercial game or even distribute your game to more than 5 people.

Visual3D.NET was designed for combat training simulations, you won't find a better GIS supporting engine anywhere...

Try to think of it more like a toolset.. the engine is just the core of it.
