| So i wanted to play electric guitar but my mom said i have to do acoustic first so anyhelp? how do i know wat chords to play plz send me website with shows how to do chords i just finished mastering drums

Your mom is right. Do the acoustic first because if you start with electric first, it tends to be harder to do acoustic later on.

If you play Guitar, start with acoustic and then go electric. You mostly learn the fundamentals of the guitar when you play acoustic.
If you play Bass, just go straight to electric.

Not really,my friend started with electric and was practicing with some metallica songs,he's really good now. =/

I don't have an Electric guitar atm, going to buy one asap though, I've beein playing acoustic more seriously for the past 6 months. There ain't no song which I can't learn if I want to.

I'm learning Guitar at school, Theirs a GUitar Class, I took it. Anyways, I'm playing an acoustic with nylon strings, It songs so good.
