The fix is no where on the net but asked several times.

I figured that this while satisfy there endless google by posting here could possibly bring more people who halfway know there rear from a hole in the ground to the forum.
This might open up new doors to the wtf how do I do the ultra hax elite the the 3rd power.

Ok enough rambling

To boot on a Dell Inspiron 1521 you will need to do the folowing:

navigate to <vesa kde> press tab

At the end of this line you will need to enter this:

"bt irqpoll acpi=off" than press enter


if you are having trouble properly installing it to usb just download the distro for usb
next open the iso with a program like iso buster extracting the 2 folders into your usb stick
(be sure you format it and remove the sandisk autoplay or equivilent)
next open the /boot folder "INSIDE THE USB"
than run the bootinst for your os "INSIDE THE USB" in the folder /boot
its in format for windows osx and linux so no worries

next reboot your computer and make sure you use boot menu or set usb as first drive

Lol my bracktrack3 disk didnt work also. BackTrack2 though worked perfectly for me. So I suggest you find a download of that.

mine does work this is a computer specific tutorial what computer are you using maybe i can figure it out
