| Recently i just got a pack of gumballs (around 20) so what happened was i couldnt sleep so i ate all of it then my mom took my ipod and my dad grounded me cuz she said i might get cavities any help?

| umm... make an excuse, say that you wanted to exercise your jaw, and using gumballs helped make it stronger, or say that your teeth are going to get replaced by permanent ones so why not help it get replaced faster..(taken you are below 12 years of age).

They care for you so they're giving you a punishment for what you have done, to them it will mark as a warning for you to not do it again.
And why Asian Parents?

ur moms stupid for taking way ur ipod, she might care, but WDF does a ipod have 2 do with gumballs.
ur dad shoulda grounded u for 2 days, 4 days max.
try reasoning. i do that wit my mom. she always gets mad.
i use specificness, and facts with reasoning and love
specific like if some1 says ur grounded 2marrow, and its 12:01 that means next day
facts as to what happened
reasoning to tell ur parents, what does a ipod have 2 do with my teeth and why a whole week over gumballs
love as in tel em u understand whats happenning, and that they care enough, and that u wont do it again

Tell them that chewing gum is actually good for your teeth (only if its sugar free, but conveniently forget to say that part) as it stimulates your mouth to make saliva which helps to prevent/remove plaque.

So your dad grounded you because she didn't want you to get cavities?
And they just care about you and want you to have perfect teeth and stuff. Live a better life than how they did in other words.
