I had some acne so I started using some stuff and now its almost gone but my stuff isn't "finishing it off." How would you guys suggest I "finish off" my acne?

Do you mean that the pimple is gone but it's still red (like under the skin)? If yes, it will fade away after sometime, but it can take a while, it's called hyperpegmentation I think.

Get a cup of warm water.

Get a healthy amount of salt ( you can use table salt or epsum salt or even sea water ).

Mix salt + warm water.

Stir.

Use a cotton ball, or tissue or whatever...

Place on the thing it isnt finishing off.

Huzzah. It should make it go bye bye.

Also, if you pick at your acne it may leave scaring. So it possibly might never leave/leave in a long time.

Ill try the salt trick. I was gonna get some proactive cuz everyone I know who uses it says its crazy good.

I have proactive but its really tiring putting like 5 stuff in my face and each takes about 5 minutes twice a day

heres another trick that u could do (it work for me and everyone I know that does it, but proactive is faster though): Wash your face with warm water gently so your skin won't be irritated, take cotton balls and add peroxide to it and gently apply it to your skin (face, neck, chest, ect.) but just enough to hydrate your skin. then put toothpaste on your zits and pimples (works for blackheads too)

Isn't that basically the same as the salt trick but with toothpaste? Oh and if proactive is faster I'll probably use that. Too bad you can't buy it in stores Confused

I read that Beastking said to get out of the sun.

I believe the Sun does good against acne Smile

(That's why geeks often have acne => lack of sun ^^)

But I might be mistaken, never read any scientific proof.

I use Clean&Clear and dip it in cotton ball and then gently put it on and around it.

--A good amount of Sun = Happy/healthy body.

--To much sun = skin failure.

use a Bacteriophage creme. btw proactiv IS peroxide. benzoyl peroxide, produces oxygen and anaerobic bacteria die. btw sun is good for pimples. certain UV wavelengths cause the bacteria causing acne to produce free radicals thus ending their life. there is an experimental creme based off an already known drug that supposedly majorly suppresses sebum production. expect if in a few years if all goes well.
