You will be able to play it at low res and low detail...

Also, in no way did they scam him. He did get a new generation card, but he got the worst one. He would be better off getting a last generation high end card ( 7900GT etc ). Okay >.> that is VERY last gen, but still.

cards in the same price by ATI is much better.

Med 1600 X 1200. That's not that bad =]. I mean if you aren't one of those hard core gamers who want to see every single branch. I wouldn't mind those settings.

25 FPS is pretty good for those settings. 30 is pretty high average.

I got high settings @ 1024*x.
And around 40fps with my 8800GT, tho I overclocked it and I got a zalman cooler on it.
