Folding@Home is a project founded by Stanford University to help understand why and how proteins misfold.
Why is this so important to understand? Well, if a protein misfolds it can cause things like cancer, alzheimers and many other diseases.
If they know how it works, they could possibly find a cure for it.

How can you do your part to help?
Download this client, leave it running in the background and watch it progress!
HOW TO SETUP FOR WINDOWS:
http://folding.stanford.edu/English/Download
Go there and download one ( the first one is the one i am going to tell you how to setup).
Now install.
Now run if it is not already running in your system tray.
When you see it running in the system tray, right click and go to configure.
You might already see the configure page open, this is okay.
Username: < CEF NAME! >
Team NumbeR: 142368
Passkey: DO NOT PUT ANYTHING HERE!

Mine uses 2K and you can set how much CPU time it gets.
