hi, i created an icy tower trainer today and for some reason it dosent work for my friends...

somone knows why?

edit:i restarted my computer and now it aint working for me too, i guess the address has changed :S why?

DMA (black) addys change in most cases. Probably the easiest thing you could do is check the tut section for a Pointer (tut)

Theres different things you can do to stop this but pointers would be the easiest for you.

All it does is points to your addy from a static (green) addy. If the pointer is multi level then it takes alittle longer but not much more.

So check the tut section, its very easy finding pointers.

Works fine for me, they probably need to download Net Framework.

well, i found the pointer, whats next?o.o;
the pointer value is like 28000 and it always changes, what do i do?

I don't think you quite understand pointers yet. There's some handy tutorials on these forums, take a better look. But first, try handing them that link.

Is the game code shifting or something.

When you (find what write) to your addy. You double click one of them to bring up the more info. It will say something like (the value of the pointer needed to find this address is probably blah blah)

Do a hex 4 byte scan for that addy with the value given. If theres a green one in the list then use that.
if its black then copy the address and add it to the list. make sure you tick pointer when you add it. The offset for that address will be in red [eax+23] so the offset will be 23. if theres only something like [eax] then your offset is 0.

When you click ok, the pointer should be the same value as your original address.
Now right click that pointer and (find what access) it. And do you hex scan again. But this time instead of making a new pointer just add the addy and offset to your other pointer. There called multi leveled pointers.

Just keep doing this untill your hex scan brings up a static addy (green)
This will be a static base for the pointer.

I just tested it again, and it doesn't work. Must of had the same DMA as he originally had. haha wierd.

edit: when i do find what accsess it gives me alot of addresses it gives me alot of things ;S which 1 i gotta use?

you could probably use any. I pick one from the bottom. If you look at there (more info) most of them will be the same addy to search for.

ok i got 1 from the bottom, i use it on hex and its giving me the same address like the 1 when i did 'find what writes'... :S
