Hopefully, we'll be able to understand the new resources when it comes time to visit "out of solar system". By then, I'm sure we'll have a better look toward our future resources.

beyond our solar system, there is nothing, untill you reach the next star, which is another solar system itself.
all of these solar systems create the galaxy, which revolves around a massive black hole.
Each galaxy hosts millions of diff space bodies, (planets)
there is more than one galaxy in the universe...
meaning there are billions upon billions of planets in the universe.
1 planet isnt going to be the only one with water.
As we know, there are diff planets in our solar system that have been know to have had liquid or frozen water. Meaning they all had their equal opportunities at hosting life forms.
same can be said about every solar system with some form of water.
also, just cuz we need water, it doesnt mean that some other species light years away from us needs it too.
we evolved around water, other organism could have evolved around something else.
Religion is the belief in an afterlife, not reality.
dont mix both of them together.
PS:
there cant be a black hole on the edge of our solar system.
no star has died and collapsed onto itslef in our solar system before.
and if there was a black hole, then im sure you wouldnt be alive right now~

everything else is inside it >_>
