How do I cheat?

back about I guess its been like 2 years ago.. Some kid was dropping money all over town in a MMO called KalOnline. It's all serverside. How did he do it? I know how to simply change the amount of gold that YOU see in your inventory. but how do you "trick" the server or just change it on the server?
Is this possible?

maybe he just was rich, or bored
everything is possible, but to hack server sided game, there is few ways, which are hard, like physical access or some kind of injection...

Well, im 100% sure it was him hacking the server. There was also a trade hack where If he traded and you accepted the trade he would get all the items/gold.
One quick question. I dont know if any of you are familiar with cabal online, but i was wondering if anybody knew if upgraded armor was kept serverside.

The issue is that you have to have an exploit to exploit things, and back in the days (as you said, 2 years ago.) multiplayer hacking in MMORPG games wasn't as big as it is today.
Today the game developers are aware of the hackers and they take action against hackers even BEFORE they release the game, they also use BETA's as ways to cover up hacks, patch bugs (that is what a BETA release is for) and exploits.
All in all, no, unless you have an exploit.
