Wow some of you guys need to stop being ignorant assholes to those who prefer rap.
I prefer rock / metal yeah but I see his point.
If you've listened to the genre they have interesting beats and there lyrics describe their life. I have a friend that was born into drug buisness because of his parents , so don't call them rapists or what not thats just fucking stereotyping.
You don't like rap fine , people prefer different things but you don't call another genre "trash".

I'm talking about rap, 2pac, Biggie, Lil Wayne, etc etc. Not hip-hop.

I love how Lil Wayne is the new respected artist when his music is exactly the same as all of the other corporate mainstream rap out there. It's funny, he's been around forever not getting any attention, the labels decide he's the new thing for everyone to like, and everyone respects him so much. His music is garbage, he's no different from any other mainstream rapper.
Rap is like any other genre, if they're on a major label, they most likely suck, badly. I've seen this happen with every band I listen to, they make amazing music from the start, then once they get signed to a major label, the label is telling them how to make their music, to the standard of what the ignorant masses want, and the music is shallow and meaningless.

Exactly, I don't know why hes so big. He don't even know how to wear his rag rite. Untill someone said something, then he started wearin his flag on the right side.
