What are the cons of VB and .NET? I know VB doesn't teach you good habits, but besides thats what's bad about it. And what is bad about .NET (or the noticeable disadvantages)?

A noticable flaw with .Net - it's bytecode can be reversed, quite easily.

If you are planning to learn a .NET language for what ever reason.. go with C#

On another note, why do you jump from project to project so fast? You don't learn anything, but rather copy paste, beg for help, then move to another topic.. why not stick with something for more then an hour, do some work, research, reading, etc. and actually learn what you are doing?

I don't wanna learn a .NET language, I just want to know the cons.

@Wiccaan

Mainly because it's not that I'm on a project just certain things pop into my head that I want to know how to do. But if I'm actually on a project, it's because either a. it's hard for me to commit to a project unless it's actually going to be useful or b. I hit some major roadblock that I try to fix for months and I just give up.
