Absolutely nothing is wrong with it.

Infact I'd go as far as to say that it's better than XP.

Its much much better then xp

MUCH

But its require for more ram makes people not like it.

The main reason people dont like it is you cant hack games on it. Vista kinda protects games as it is made for gaming.

Just if ppl don't know how too.. And most people who hate Vista are leechers who don't understand how to hack.

Yeah, I'd have to agree, Vista is pretty good. The main reason I upgraded was because I wanted the "real" DX10 experience. Sadly, I didn't get what I wanted, there was barely an increase in the graphical effects while playing Crysis. But I don't regret it overall, there was no performance loss after installing SP1, and Windows Aero is stunning (even Aero thumbnails sync FMVs). I only had one program incompatibiility (boot manager), but I didn't really need it anymore, so it wasn't much of a problem (Vista has it's own boot manager).

Starting applications don't take much longer (if it takes longer at all), and most of the time only 33% of my 2GB of RAM is being used. I also get less "Program Not Responding" errors, so that's a good thing.

As long as you have a computer powerful enough for it, I would recommend you give a try at Vista, it's not bad at all. I would have to agree that it's a step up from XP.

If you right click, go to properties, run compatibility as xp service pack 1 or w/e you want, it will be. Takes like 3 seconds.

Well.

Horrible for p2p downloads for sure.

Takes alot of ram. If you look at game boxes it will say it takes twice as much if you're running vista.

I definitely want 1 more gb in mine.

But other than obvious flaws it is a great OS.

The 'extra ram' is from superfetch. It's using it, not wasting it.

I was reading on RAM and things, and i learned that the use of all that RAM is not a bad thing totally, that is actually sometimes good Smile or something along those lines.
