Well of course that's true.
But.
You can still not go to jail if you have enough money.

QFC where I live at Midnight, every one works in the back. Walk in, steal candy/food/drinks and walk out. It's easy as stealing your cookies from the cookie jar.

Some of the best things you can steal and resell are : flash drives, Ipods/MP3 players/video games/Xbox live (you find a game that COMES with xbox live inside the box, and steal the card. its already activated.)
Clothes usually have a ink thing on them, and i dont know how to remove them. if not, where it under your shirt, and remove all stickers/tags, just in case. Jackets sometimes have a hidden sticker in a sleeve.
i will post more tips tommorrow. |
Sometimes, I see people putting the items over some kind of scanners on the counter, which probarbly deactivates the magnetic strip or whatever the heck they have in the object. I'm not too sure on the clothes one...They have a ink thing on them? |
Oh yea, i forgot to mention, if you can do it quick enough, swip it across the counter, and it should deactivate the strip. Ink thing removers are usually kept behind a counter, BUT if you ca find a empty counter, go for it. Although they usually have cameras around every register.
| odoles wrote: | Heh next time I'm at Target or Walmart. Shopping Spree~
I was there today but I forgot my knife so I decided to just steal yugioh cards. :3
Another noob question- Where would those black strips be located on the box of Dvd's, Cd's, and such? Would it be inside the case, outside, or both? And would it be on the bottomish or top? | Normally inside, behind the game manual. topish.

Does RAM count as well?
| waxxup wrote: | | odoles wrote: | | Err... I guess a better way to have put that is, some of us cheat in life. |
Yes, better way, and i personally think that cheating in life is for idiots |
 | RAM is also good if you can :1. Find someone to sell to. 2. If you need it.
| odoles wrote: | Today i went to target took some yugioh cards. I could have taken some other crap as well (gah I was so thirsty) but since my little brother was with me it's kind of hard to sneak that into my pocket without my brother seeing me and thinking I'm a Horrible Horrible person and that stealing is Ok. .
And how does anyone steal any good games from Walmart or Target they only keep the old retarded games outside of the glass cases.
I'm going to go steal some clothes next next week (My parents are making me go to this camp thingy @_@) Any advice for the clothes that don't have Ink-paks on them? Any tags and such that I need to watch out for? |
1. Pick the lock
2. Have the guy take the games out, wait until he hands them to you, and RUN out the emergency exit/fire exit (dont plan on going back to that store anytime soon)
Clothes are semi easy. look for stickers hidden down sleeves and such.
1 Remove all tags.
2. put them on under your shirt
3. Walk out
| rufflez wrote: | | lol i would assume the alarm would go off if u kept it in the packet. | No security device (black strip/sticker)=No alarm. BARCODES PRINTED ON PACKAGE CAN NOT SET IT OFF. It has to be a barcode STICKER.
| LolSalad wrote: | I've never shoplifted in my life.
A friend of mine said he used to shoplift video games by hiding them in a jacket or something, and then walking around the store, pretending to get hot, take off the jumper, and start throwing it in the air (with the game still inside it) and catching it as if they were just doing it for the hell of it. Then he would leave the store and throw the jumper above the scanners as he left. | Its easier to just find a remote area and remove the security devices and such.
| odoles wrote: | I don't think theres security on cards, I think if you get those deck or those boxes with like 10 packs the alarm will probably go off. The best way to test it actually is buy one pack then put it back and switch it with another pack and if the thing goes off and the security comes up, show the receipt and your fine. Unless they think you have stuff on you (dress normally, khakis with a shirt or something)
And I'm planning to lift from a clothes store, I'm going to start at Old Navy since the clothes are cheap and if I get caught I can just pay for it , then go to a more expensive store.
Heres a rough version of my plan.
(I'm not going to be wearing a shirt under my coat it'll make sense as you read on I guess))
1.Go to this retarded Japanese Market thingy that sells these really really cheap messenger bags I'll lift a bag.
-Since I don't think they have a security system other than a camera I'll just take it and leave : D, and if they do I'll just pay for it and lift candy or something lol (I'll put the junk into the bag after i get out of the store).
2.Go over to old navy and find a jacket there and put a shirt in it and zip it up (So if they count the number of items they might not see the shirt inside the jacket ) and if someone asks why I'm doing that I'll just say i wanna see how it looks with the T. I'm going to use three jackets.
3.Go to the Dressing room and hopefully they'll miss the shirt inside the jackets. If not I'll just leave the store after pretending to try on the clothes.
4.In the dressing room cut off the tag with a swiss army knife and check for any other security things on the shirt. (This might take awhile >.>)
5.Wear two things under my coat and the third one goes in the bag. (Since i put junk in the bag before I hope it'll look less suspicious since it won't look like the bag got bigger.)
6. Buy something really cheap (Shirt or a T on clearance or maybe even underwear xP) just in case the alarm goes off. Then Exit the store and if the alarm goes off i'll just walk through and pretend nothing happened. Go to the bathroom then unload everything into the old navy bag. (also why I decided to buy something from there, for the bag)
Since I'm probably planning on lifting two jackets and a T it'd probably be about 60 dollars worth of stuff if I get away with it. But since I'm going to buy something take away 50 from the profit I guess.
Then repeat at another store~
Well what do you think? I'm a totally idiot so if this doesn't make sense or it's quite obvious I wouldn't get away with it tell me. Also if you have any suggestions... | not bad.

On some cloths theres a little grey box the size of a lighter, to remove it just go up to an empty cash and look on the desk for a white tool that looks like a singe punch hole punnher (Its usualy near a bunch of tacks).
Another good way of stealing from small shops is to get two people, you stay at the front, your friends goes to the back and tells the worker to come to the back to find the price of something. While the workers back there open your bag and fill it with shit, jump on your bike and speed away. If your lucky he will come chaseing after you. thats when your friend in the back fills his bag and bikes the other way. meet up later (I tryed this with my friend and it works fine, but usualy the person that steals doesnt get chased)
