|
|
I was wondering about several things for whats best for a laptop battery life because I have heard many things about it...
Is it better for the battery to stay inside the laptop even though it's charged and it's using an AC plug?
Is it better for me to wait for the battery to be completely drained before charging it?
And lastly... Should I be using it while it's charging?

| I dont think it is good charging it when it is all drained, you may have problems, maybe some functions doesnt work because of low battery, i think is always good to have it charged

Yes, no, and yes.
A lithium ion battery like is used in a laptop doesn't suffer from "memory" effects, so you can charge it regardless of how drained it is, without losing battery life.
If you use it while it's charging it may charge a little slower, but other than that you'll be fine.

just make sure you don't charge the battery too much while it's only half drained and you'll be fine.
