The game is Overkill, a sweet old DOS game most of you probably remember.I attached a copy of it.Its freeware and runs fine on XP.

So basicly, you dont have health, just shields.I counted the number of shield bars, and scanned for it, until their was just one value left.I changed the value to like 200, which is higher than it even goes,and the bar stayed the same as I got hurt, but after a few hits, and still with a full bar I died.So how do I find the real value, because the bar is obviously just a cover.

You'll have ot decompile it with WPE or a similar program.

or try doing a unknow inital scan, then get hit and do a decreased scan untill you get only one?

try using WPE i liek it because it displays info like this...

(DF with WPE 3D then 22 means the value is comign up (30) the next 22 means it has ended).
therefor is you put this filter in.

Eh...I really hate WPE. Cant WPE only be used for online things anyways? I thought it just messes with packets. And Ill take Pingo's word for It that the unknown scan idea wont work.

works with MSN you can be an internet terrorist with CE and WPE on msn lol 10 nudges per second. I crashed smarter child a few days ago 200 million nudges...
